Maintenance & Theft Protection

What is MTP?

Maintenance & Theft Protection (MTP) is an extended protection plan for instruments rented through Summerhays Music of Orem. Eligible rental instruments from Summerhays may have MTP added during rental signing or after approval by the Summerhays repair shop. Approval from the shop may require completed repairs by an approved technician, at the expense of the renter.

Instruments on this plan will receive coverage on standard maintenance, qualifying repairs, and theft replacement after the agreed conditions are met and any applicable deductibles are paid.

Please call Summerhays Music of Orem to clarify any questions on coverage.

Final determination on repair coverage will be determined once the instrument is in possession of an approved repair technician.

Renter
Responsibilities

The following terms are required to receive covered repair or replacement services from Summerhays. Failure to complete responsibilities or properly care for and maintain the instrument may result in denial of coverage and/or removal from the MTP program.

Payment & Deductibles

The renter will pay the agreed monthly MTP amount due the 1st of each month for the duration of the contract. The renter may cancel participation in the MTP program at any time by request in writing to Summerhays Music of Orem.

Summerhays will determine at its discretion which repairs, maintenance, and replacements are covered. Any repairs outside of coverage that do not qualify for the deductibles and will be performed at the expense of the renter.

The following tables provide deductible amounts applicable
